Students will be introduced to Nottu swaras in Sankarbharana Ragam. They will understand Not swaras of Muthu Swami Deekshithar, along with the story, history, and moral aspects associated with each Nottu Swaras. Objectives: 1. Learn deeply about the Sampoorna Raga, Sankarabharana. 2. Understanding the western notes comparing to indian classical music. 3. Introducing about Muthu Swami Deekshithar Topics Covered: 1. Shakthi Sahitha Ganapathim, Swaras & Sahithyas in Sankarabharanam 2. Rama Janardhana, Swaras & Sahithyas in Sankarabharanam 3. Shyamala Meenakshi, Swaras & Sahithyas in Sankarabharanam. The outcomes for the course are: 1. Acquire knowledge of Janaka Ragam Sankarabharanam. 2. Explore similarities between Western and Indian styles of singing. 3. Introduce classical rhymes. 4.
